Gods love makes the extraordinary become the norm.

Gods love makes the extraordinary become the norm.

We are living in a very broken and very fallen world. As much as we would love to live in that wonderfully euphoric space, the realities of life plunder our ‘joy reserves’ and eventually we find ourselves feeling exhausted and quite simply ‘out of faith’.
God is our father in heaven and his very nature is to pour out his love in our lives. With that love, comes blessing upon blessing.
We need to make time to spend in his presence, to be affirmed by his love and to be re- assured of his faithfulness.

Gods love in the last days

Gods love in the last days

Gods love just keeps coming at us and it will keep coming at us right up until the very last day. Yes, that either means the very last day of the world as we know it, or the very last day of our lives.
The bible tells us that God wants everyone to be saved.
The Revelation unequivocally declares that God is sovereign. There is no greater power in all the universe. He cannot be compared with any leader, government or religion.
For me, I believe that the bible is the living word of God and that it is very literal. When Jesus took some mud, spat on it and rubbed it on a blind mans eye – he was literally healed. Not figuratively healed.

God’s love in Community

Gods love never stops coming towards us just like the waves of the ocean never stop rolling onto the beach.
It is the character of the ocean for the waves to keep rolling onto the beach, and it is the character of God to keep loving.
If you turn away from Gods light, which is Gods love, effectively you are turning into the shadows.
It’s in the shadows where doubt and disillusion sets in. Where the created stops believing that they are utterly loved by the creator and eventually they stop believing that they are created at all.
