In our society today, it is almost impossible to avoid the festivities of Halloween but we can create room for heaps of fun and use the day to celebrate God’s protection, provision and purpose for our lives.
God is with us in all that we do and everything should be an expression of his love in our lives.
So if we go our trick-or-treating with our kiddies, go with the joy of the Lord. Pray over the sweeties that you give out and trust that God will supernaturally work in the life of each the person they are given too.
We can make a difference, even in a time such as this.

The world has yet to see what God can do with and for and through and in a man (or woman) who is fully and wholly devoted to Him.”
I used to live in a space where I watched God open up opportunities for me share about his love. It is wonderful to see people’s response and enthusiasm when God is the one that has prepared their heart.
It is so freeing to set aside my needs and concerns and even my dreams so that I can become an active part of Gods bigger picture.
God doesn’t put aside those things that we have been praying for. Those things that are important to us. He just presents them to us in a different way, at a different time and we can see from this new perspective that God’s plans and provisions are always perfect. And so much more we could have ever dreamed of or imagined.

As I was running and praying, I was overwhelmed by my own brokenness. This is not something that I am aware of in my every day. In fact, I thought that I had dealt with all of it and was over all of it.
But while I was running, my tears were flowing and my cry was guttural.
What is this God? I thought that I was healed!
And then the Lord gave me the most beautiful and clear explanation of what I was going on.
Yes, I was healed and I was made whole. But Christ is my healer. He is the one that makes me whole. With his love. And the presence of the Spirit.
