“You will be an oak of righteousness, a planting for the Lord … For the display of his splendour”
Jesus came to the earth to restore you for His purpose – so that you will display his splendour.
So that your life will display his radiance.
Sometimes, all God needs is two willing hearts. A heart that’s willing to ask the question and a heart that’s willing to answer.
We have to trust in an unseen God, whom the world so often disregards, but whom we know in our heart is mighty and awesome and willing to work a wonder in your life.
We need to be prepared to go to war – with God riding out before us, and forging our way.
Worry feeds on the darkness and doubts in our minds.
Worry, tantalises us to entertain obscurities and lies. And we fall for it. We begin to dance with the lies. We go around and around and examine them from every possible angle.
And we eventually allow our anguish to consume us.
The best way to combat worry is to ‘get it out.’
We need to bring our worries into the light. We need to speak them out to God.
A New Year is always the time for dreams and resolutions
Let’s make this year’s resolution ‘to live by faith’.
Faith doesn’t start out big. We need to look and see how God’s hand is moving around us every day.
Only when we see God at work in the small things, will we be unaware of His presence in the big things too.
