SIMPLE but SUPERnatural
There is no doubt that when our eyes are opened to the spiritual realm, we become more perceptive and it is that much easier to get a glimpse of what it going on in the supernatural (or the other side of the veil.)
It’s not freaky
It’s not scary
It’s not imaginary
It is very real.
In fact if we try to live in denial of the supernatural we are actually in effect denying the very existence of God because He is a supernatural being.
We cannot deny the supernatural and at the same time say we believe in God.
In the bible, we see many, many testimonies that give us more than enough evidence that God and supernatural things exist outside of our five senses. And of course there are plenty of testimonies of things that are happening in the here and now. Testimonies of prophecies, dreams, visions and encounters where individuals or groups have come face to face with the supernatural – where they have had an experience which cannot be explained away by anything that exists in our tangible world.
I had another beautiful, supernatural experience which followed shortly after my ‘head on confrontation with the demonic’ but this was a radical revelation from God.
I was out on my run, praying that Gods angels would protect the family that had been so forcefully invaded by the enemy, when I received such a powerful word from God. It was not just an impression that could have come from me. It was a gentle yet powerful message from God. It felt as if I had been lifted out of the natural and brought into the spiritual realm and there the message was deposited deep within my heart.
And afterwards, on reflection of this encounter, I could say with absolute conviction that ‘I know that I know that I know’ that God has spoken.
The message was very relevant and certainly not one that I would have had the courage to voice on my own, but knowing that this simple word came directly from God, fortified me and gave me the resolve to put out this God-given challenge to the group of people that I care for the most.
What was the challenge? To stop drinking alcohol for a full month. This may sound mild or even trivial, but when alcohol becomes the dictator of your life, when it sets the mood in your home and determines your relationship with your family, then it is far from mild.
And it would have to take a supernatural intervention to change this ‘status quo’
And so, we are all obediently on this journey and already it has been incredible and life changing. God and his love is written on every single facet of this adventure.
We are opening up our hearts and our spiritual eyes and allowing God to do an incredible and miraculous work in all or our lives.
