God doesn’t grant our every wish for every single prayer but he does hear every single prayer.
He sees the bigger picture.
Sometimes praying and trusting God for a good outcome brings us the peace we need. Sometimes God knows that unanswered prayer will lead to a greater step of faith down the line.
God is most interested in our hearts … in our relationship with Him … so He will always lead our lives in a way that will give us the richest experience of Him.
If every little prayer we prayed was responded by a resounding yes, would we really need faith? Would we be grateful for every blessing or would we become like spoiled little children? Would we even acknowledge that its God answering our prayers? Would it not all be forgotten in the very next moment or when we wake up from our wonderful slumber after praying and asking God to help us to sleep?
