‘Life, Love and Miracles’ are a beautiful trio that I would use when describing my spiritual journey. Because … Real Life is often more bizarre or more beautiful or more broken than any well-written novel could ever be. Love is the all-powerful emotion that heals hearts, restores hope and harbors happiness.  God is the very origin of Love.  The personification of Love.  God is Love. Miracles are happening all around us, every day.  People pray and people see God move.  People are continually being blown away by Gods goodness. about Because … I want you to be blown away too!  I want you to discover your purpose and passion for life.  I want you to be surprised by Gods love.  And I want you to be amazed by the myriad of modern day miracles that are happening all around you. Because … This is what makes me come alive.  This is what makes me want to explode with passion and purpose.  Sharing the realness yet greatness of God.  Exploring the casual yet intimate depths of Gods Love. Being real. Sharing Gods Love Growing in Faith These three statements are the foundation, the support and the very reason for this ongoing conversation. These are the three pillars that will uphold this blog.

Praise & Worship

Worship is certainly one of my true passions.  And although there are many different expressions of worship, my favorite by far is music.  Being a drummer myself and having been strongly influenced by Christian Rock, I always enjoy the roundy ‘Praises’ but it is in the quiet ‘Worship’ where we truly come ‘heart to heart’ with God.   I once heard the expression ‘Music can deal with our emotions by bypassing our minds’ and I have held onto it because I have found it to be so very true in my life.

But actually, anything we do that brings pleasure to God, is an act of worship.

God created us to worship

Worship is a lifestyle

Worship is not for our benefit

Worship is not a part of your life … it is your life

We have been hosting a worship evening in our home for many months now and it has been a wonderful blessing for all.  The vision for these evenings is to create a place where people can worship with passion and openness.  Where we can be unified in purpose and desire.  Where we can be encouraged to go deeper and be released to worship with abandon.

It’s all in a name!

In the bible, there are over 270 names that are used for God, each name describing a different facet of his character and a different dimension of his love. He is so glorious and so enormous that one name could never begin to describe him.
But Yahweh is completely different. Yahweh is personal. Yahweh is ‘I AM WHO I AM’
Yahweh is our covenant keeping God.
Yahweh is the LORD of His people
And then Jesus Christ came to earth.

A Community of Worshippers

For the past year, we have been hosting a worship evening in our home. It has been a wonderful, varied experience and each meeting has been vastly different. Yet at the same time, an incredible blessing for each person who has attended.

My great desire is that this blog is accessible to everyone, no matter where you are on your faith journey -  even if you are not yet on your faith journey.

It’s about giving you a glimpse of God and His incredible and unfailing love.  It’s about showing you more of him until eventually you start to ‘know’ him.

Because to know God, is to Love God.

Real love is ‘Knowing’.  As the knowing grows so the love expands to contain it.

PRAYER REQUESTS & QUESTIONS

We all have issues that we face;  some seem large and insurmountable, some leave us broken and grieving and some turn up the pressure to the point that we feel  that we are going to explode.  But  there is always hope, always light and always love …. And joy comes in the morning. Read more
