All around us, we see disasters that are seriously impacting on the lives of our citizens, rich and poor, and every race in between. No-one is untouched by the devastation.
Yet God is still God.
And if God is for us, who can be against us.
It doesn’t mean that disaster will not come into our lives, but it does mean that God will be never leave us nor forsake us. In the face of danger or disaster, God will either turn us away from it, walk us around it or carry us through it, but never, never, never will He abandon us.

South Africa has reached a tipping point as corruption and injustice are seen to be spiraling out of control. The desperate drought in our land actually reflects the lack of ‘sustenance’ that the people are receiving from our leaders.
And it is for this very reason that Angus Buchan was called on and implored to ‘Do Something’.
And his ‘Do Something’ was to call the nation to prayer. To call on God to make a change that only God can make. The current situation requires ‘supernatural intervention’. Believers in God, trust and believe that God can make a way where there seems to be no way.
But if we want the God of heaven and earth to move his hand – to intervene in a powerful and miraculous way – then we have to show Him that we love Him, that we are prepared to choose to live our lives according to His will and that we will be faithful to his word.

Our country is like a precious diamond reflecting the colors of the rainbow. Our rainbow nation. A beautiful blend of color and culture and creed. Each of us make up a different facet of the diamond. Each is carved by the creator. Each incomparable. Each reflecting a different facet of who God is. Together as a whole, a beautiful sight to behold.

here is an enormous battle going on in the spiritual realm. A battle for this country, a battle for the people of God and a battle for justice and peace to return to our land.
We may feel helpless as individuals, not knowing or seeing what is really going on, but we can make a mighty difference in the spiritual realm. We can pray for Gods hand to move and we can witness a radical change.
For those who live in the Cape Town, I encourage you to come together in unity and harmony as we all hold hands along the Main Road, all the way from Central Town to Simons Town.
