‘Life, Love and Miracles’ are a beautiful trio that I would use when describing my spiritual journey. Because … Real Life is often more bizarre or more beautiful or more broken than any well-written novel could ever be. Love is the all-powerful emotion that heals hearts, restores hope and harbors happiness. God is the very origin of Love. The personification of Love. God is Love. Miracles are happening all around us, every day. People pray and people see God move. People are continually being blown away by Gods goodness. 
Because … I want you to be blown away too! I want you to discover your purpose and passion for life. I want you to be surprised by Gods love. And I want you to be amazed by the myriad of modern day miracles that are happening all around you. Because … This is what makes me come alive. This is what makes me want to explode with passion and purpose. Sharing the realness yet greatness of God. Exploring the casual yet intimate depths of Gods Love. Being real. Sharing Gods Love Growing in Faith These three statements are the foundation, the support and the very reason for this ongoing conversation. These are the three pillars that will uphold this blog.
God Stuff
God’s love is out the Box
God Loves us! God pursues us with his love and even when we ‘sin’ he continues to love us and pursue us. All that we need to do, is keep our hearts pointed towards God.
Yes, we will have to face the consequences of our behavior, but we will still feel loved and comforted and protected by our God.
That is love out of the box!
The Gems of Job
It’s only human to want all the goings on in this world to make sense. But we will never have an explanation for everything and sometimes we miss the entire point of hardship because we are trying to explain it away.
The reality is that on earth, bad things do not only happen to bad people.
The big secret to facing life’s trials, is to lift our eyes above the situation and fix them on God, knowing that he is omniscient – infinite in knowledge, omnipotent – unlimited in power and omnipresent – present everywhere. He knows what we are going through and He will endure with us to the end.
And even though God is so awesome and incredible and Almighty, He is also all loving, all compassionate and all forgiving.
He is intensely in love with us and He will always meet us where we are at.
Life – Love – Miracles
In the past two weeks I have been privileged to witness many MIRACLES all because of God’s LOVE for us and our LOVE for others and this … is LIFE!
If we call on God, He will show up and He will heal all our brokenness in a most profound and miraculous way.
What a blessing. What a privilege. What a life. What could possibly be more wonderful than that.
Allegiance to the King
All around us, we see disasters that are seriously impacting on the lives of our citizens, rich and poor, and every race in between. No-one is untouched by the devastation.
Yet God is still God.
And if God is for us, who can be against us.
It doesn’t mean that disaster will not come into our lives, but it does mean that God will be never leave us nor forsake us. In the face of danger or disaster, God will either turn us away from it, walk us around it or carry us through it, but never, never, never will He abandon us.
Is Bigger really Better?
What we really need is to have a REAL relationship with the Lord.
You cannot hide in real.
Real is open. Real is exposed. Real is heart and soul.
My great desire is that this blog is accessible to everyone, no matter where you are on your faith journey - even if you are not yet on your faith journey.
It’s about giving you a glimpse of God and His incredible and unfailing love. It’s about showing you more of him until eventually you start to ‘know’ him.
Because to know God, is to Love God.
Real love is ‘Knowing’. As the knowing grows so the love expands to contain it.
