Without God, our world is headed for absolute destruction and disorder.

Why?

Because the evidence is everywhere.

As the bounds of the law become more constricting, so the crime continues to increase all around.

Because ‘goodness’ doesn’t come from the law.  Goodness comes from within the heart.

The more red-tape … the more extravagant the loopholes or the more blatant the breaking of the law.

God is the only one that can bring about true ‘goodness’.

Each countries government goes to great extremes to put laws in place that will protect the innocent and provide clear boundaries within which to live our lives.

But all around us, people are breaking the laws, whether they are consciously aware of it, or not.

The only way that we will see true, honest, beautiful change, is when we allow God into our hearts, into our lives, into our businesses, our schools, our churches and our governments.

We will see change when we allow God’s goodness and God’s righteousness to pour out of our lives.

2 Peter 1:5-7  Good News Translation (GNT)

For this very reason do your best to add goodness to your faith; to your goodness add knowledge; to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add endurance; to your endurance add godliness; to your godliness add Christian affection; and to your Christian affection add love.

Today, I was praying desperately for our country.  For God to step in and make a difference.  For God and his heavenly angels to position themselves in our government. For God to bring confusion to the minds of the corrupt and wisdom and clarity to those that are open hearted and hungry to see justice and integrity restored to our land.

LOVE is what will change the world.

Love is what will change our country.

Love is what will change our government.

Galatians 3:28  Contemporary English Version (CEV)

“Faith in Christ Jesus is what makes each of you equal with each other, whether you are a Jew or a Greek, a slave or a free person, a man or a woman.”

This passage  was written by Paul in about 56 AD and it would have been a radical teaching at that time.

In fact, there are some biblical scholars who have said that this was the very first time in the history of literature, that all people were declared equal!

We are all equal in Gods sight.

Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for everyone … for all people.

It is wonderful when the faithful people of God pray, to see change in the government.  To see love and justice win.

Let us keep praying for our government.

Let us keep praying for our people.

Let us keep praying and God will do the rest!

Praying is what we can do best!
