The unfortunate truth is that yes, bad things do happen to good people.
Because we are living in a fallen world, surrounded by fallen people. Even those people that are saved, don’t always make the right choices.
Because we are all HUMAN.
And in one way or another, we all fall short of perfection.
In my small circle of believing friends, two have recently had brain tumors removed, a breadwinner has lost a job, a couple are going through enormous pain and heartache and several have businesses that are really struggling,
And yet in all of this, we need to stand strong and confidently claim that we will be the victors.
2 Chronicles 20:15
Do not be afraid or discouraged for the battle is not yours but Gods.
Sometimes, I feel really strong and courageous and other times I feel rather low. Our emotions can do that, but it is important that our faith does not falter. In those times when we are feeling challenged or beaten down, we must make an effort to immerse ourselves in Praise and Worship music. We must listen to podcasts and broadcasts of people speaking of faith and miracles and continue to believe that in God, all things are possible, no matter how bleak the circumstances may look.
And most importantly, we must trust God to help us to make the right choices.
Choices change lives!
It’s easy to make a choice flippantly or thoughtfully because it appears on the surface to be a good choice. But it may not be Gods best for us. So let us trust God together, that He leads and guides us to make the best choices.
Choices that will make us thrive in this life.
Choices that will make others thrive in this life too.
Here is a video that I receive when I was feeling low on faith. It came on my WhatsApp at an unexpected time and it is not really kind of hype that I take to BUT it was just what I needed to hear. Sometimes we need to set aside our prejudices and listen and see what God is saying in it all.
