Welcome to my new , beautiful Blog. I can call it beautiful because it was designed by someone very special which means that I am not being boastful … and therein is my story!
So, where to start? Maybe with a shaft of light. That’s what it felt like for me. A beautiful, warm shaft of light leading me to enter into my creative writing space.
The further and further I travel on this road of believing in God, the more I am surprised by His endless Mercy and unfathomable love. He loves us through people, and if people get in the way, he loves us directly into the very core of our being. If I can put this little message into a nutshell, it would be this…
Gods love is true Kindness! Kindness is love in action. Kindness create a blessing. So, even when we cannot ‘feel’ the love, we can still see the actions and we can and do, still receive the blessings. Something happened the other day, which may seem small and even inconsequential, but to me it was such a blatant reminder that God love us in Detail. He cares about the big things and the small things and he answers are prayers in big ways and small ways.
So many of us have been desperately hurt by the ones that we love and the ones that that we thought love us. But Humans are beings that are imperfect. Beings that are fallible. Beings that have suffered hurt themselves and that have a tendency to hurt others, on purpose or not. If we want to experience true love – pure, unconditional, perfect, beautiful, everlasting love – there is only one place we will EVER find it. In the one that IS Love. That one is GOD.
I was brought up to believe that I need to create my own success. That with enough determination and drive, I can achieve anything. That I am the author of my own destiny. That puts us under a lot of pressure! Especially if we were not created for success, or at least for what the world classifies as success.
As I sit in my ‘office’ which is really more like the landing on top of the stairs, I gaze out at a multitude of yellow flowers. These bushes are prolific in the Estate where we live and I have always found them rather cheerful and bright. But recently, I discovered that their nickname is the ‘tick bush’, because they are a favorite for ticks.
