The presence of the supernatural is the most natural thing in the world.
We cannot deny the supernatural and at the same time say we believe in God.
In fact if we try to live in denial of the supernatural we are actually in effect denying the very existence of God because He is a supernatural being.
The supernatural is not freaky. It’s not scary. It’s not imaginary. What it is, is very real. And a very real comfort.
In our world, there is the natural realm (everything that we can see, touch, feel) and then there is the spiritual realm (that which we cannot see, touch and feel) and they both exist right alongside one another. Just because we can’t see the spiritual does not mean that it isn’t there.
We need to repent with our lips and believe in our hearts and pray for rain.
God honors a righteous person who prays a sincere prayer.
Let us all get on our knees and pray. Let us all turn our eyes to God, the creator of this whole universe and THE ONLY ONE who can ‘make it rain’.
God is calling his people out and calling them to action.
John loved God as well as he could according to his understanding of him, but that understanding was rooted in his concept of his father – as any sons would be. His love for his father was so intermingled with fear and resentment and this tainted his understanding of God so much so that he kicked strongly against his father and the God he represented.
John had a heart that wanted to know His Jehovah, and head that wanted to know the truth.
God doesn’t have favorites. He doesn’t love any one more than the other. And he doesn’t love us more when we are good and less when we are not. God simply LOVES. That is what he does.
With ALL that is within Him – He loves!
God loves our faith and he loves our trust in Him.
It gives him unending joy to pour out his blessings on our lives – all we need is to believe. The bible says that all we need is faith the size of a mustard seed and we could tell a mountain to move and it would move.
